Many of my positions have been helping the underserved in my local communities.
In Colorado, I finished my MA in Psychotherapy in 2017. It was during this time that I was turned on to Buddhism as a psychology and that influenced the therapeutic modalities that I practice.. My recovery also took great strides forward to dealing with my Bipolar I diagnosis. Flashforward to 2022 and my life blew up and my marriage dissolved. We still coparent together which keeps me in touch with my inspiration, my kids.
In psychology I am inspired at the connection between client-centered therapy and mindfulness. I have experience with many modalities including DBT and CBT as helpful interventions. I have a firm footing in spirituality as a base for values in myself and for my clients. In the future I hope to get dually licensed in mental health and addictions to better serve my clients.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family, and being outdoors whether it be fishing, hunting, or being on the lake floating around in the kayak. After working in retail for 11 years, a friend called me and said “Get to Gateway and fill out an application, they are looking for a receptionist!”. That same day I went to Gateway with my resume in hand. During the interview, I was asked, “Why do you want to work here?”, my response was “Because I want to help people and because of my family’s different addictions.” After being there for about a year as the receptionist, I started helping with billing, was promoted to executive assistant, and shortly after that, the office manager. While being at Gateway, I got to meet so many people that were from all walks of life. Being able to welcome clients and say “Don’t worry, we got you” is something that I take pride in.
