No Surprises Act Info

We know that understanding healthcare and treatment costs can be confusing, especially when you or your loved ones are seeking help for addiction and mental health. That’s why we want to tell you about something important called the No Surprises Act.
What is the No Surprises Act?
Imagine you go to a doctor or a hospital that your insurance says is okay (we call this “in-network”), but then you get a big bill later because someone who helped you wasn’t in your insurance’s list. That wouldn’t feel fair, right? The No Surprises Act is a new rule that helps stop those big, unexpected bills. It says that you shouldn’t have to pay extra if you didn’t know the person helping you wasn’t in your insurance network.
How Does This Affect Me?
When you come to us for help with addiction or mental health, we want you to feel safe and not worried about surprise bills. This Act makes sure that when you get treatment, what you pay is fair and clear. You can focus on getting better without stressing over unexpected costs.
Why Is This Important for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment?
Getting help for mental health or addiction is a big step. We believe nothing should stand in your way, especially not worrying about bills. This Act helps make sure that getting the help you need is easier and less stressful.
